Prof. Patricia Lago, co-lead of the S2 research group was awarded the prestigious Fellow Award at the 2026 edition of the ICT for Sustainability (ICT4S) conference in June 2026, held in Bern, Switzerland.
Presented by the ICT4S Standing Committee Chair, Prof. Birgit Penzenstadler, the Fellow Award “for her active contribution to the international ICT4S research community in the past decade and beyond”. Lago has been the Standing Committee Chair for two mandates in 2020-2025, and pursuing meaningful research and community support in the field of software engineering and sustainability.
